A Non-Profit 501 (C) (3) Association
Our mission and passion is helping animals in need find their forever home. Working in collaboration with shelters and rescue groups, we help them overcome the constant challenges they face. Firm believers that it often 'takes a village' to save an animal we are constantly expanding our network of contacts. We have met many wonderful people in the process and have helped find homes for countless animals. While it is not always an easy road, the feeling of satisfaction when an adopter tells us how a new pet has changed his life, cannot be put into words. Here is a sample of the feedback we have received from some of our new friends.
"I would like to thank the members of AANT for helping us find new foster families for our group. This has allowed us to save several shelter cats who might otherwise not have been given a second chance. It has been a pleasure working with you and your help in promoting our cats and kittens is very much appreciated."
Sarah Wateska, Kool Kats Rescue Group
"Thank you so much for being a crucial supporter of August Dog Rescue's fundraising and marketing efforts. We received near-daily inquiries on our dogs waiting for adoption through the efforts and publicity provided by AANT, and we were always impressed with and grateful for the AANT directors' immediate responses to us and our pleas, as well as to inquiries from the public about our dogs. AANT provides a truly valuable resource for rescue groups!"
Nancy Underwood Pollard, August Dog Rescue
"Thank you so much for all the work you are doing to get our GSPs adopted! I can't tell you how grateful we are for your beautiful pictures and how much they are doing to find homes for needy dogs. You are so valuable to us - I can't thank you enough!"
Kristin Ishihara, Texas GSP Rescue
"We are so glad we decided to foster Daisy and Rupert. Although we did become very attached to them, we were delighted that they were able to find a great home together and can't wait to start fostering again!"
Barbara Bowen, foster, Kool Kats Rescue
"I wanted to write to give a big THANK YOU to AANT for helping get the word out about our Texas Cattle Dog Rescue foster, Quinn. Thanks to you, he has found a wonderful new home where he will be treasured and loved like he deserves. I can honestly say that he would have spent a lot longer in foster care without your incredible pictures. Those photos helped his adoptive family fall in love with him from all the way down in Austin and just know that he belonged with them. Thank you again, AANT. We couldn't have done it without you!"
Tyfany Boettcher, Texas Cattle Dog Rescue
"I wanted to take a moment to say thank you on behalf of Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue. As one of their fosters, I'm always thrilled to get gorgeous photos from AANT to better illustrate the beauty and personality of each foster pup. Because of the unfortunate overabundance of Rhodesian Ridgebacks in Texas, every one of my Ridgeback fosters has found his or her forever home in another state. That alone should be a testament to how wonderful your photos are that someone falls in love with a pup without ever having met him! I am always grateful for all the help that you give to help find wonderful homes for deserving pups. Keep up the good work, AANT!"
William Burke, foster, Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue
"Our two cats, Annie and Brownie, have enriched our lives beyond anything we could have ever imagined. They are a constant source of amusement with their antics and we now realize how important it was to keep them together! By fostering and socializing young animals, AANT members make the necessary special effort to ensure they are given a chance to become part of a family that will love them.''
Avis & Jerry Sorenson, proud parents of Annie and Brownie
Every day we are presented with new challenges. Our goal is to meet those challenges head-on and help rescue groups and shelters achieve their objectives. The support of compassionate individuals who share our beliefs has allowed us to give many animals a second chance in life.
